2022 Quilt Show Rules for Entry (see below)

  • Entries Were Accepted Wednesday, September 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Entry Fee: $12.00 per quilt

Guidelines (2022 | 2023 TBD):

  • Limit: Maximum of 4 entries per quilter

  • Sleeves or casings are not required. Quilts will be displayed using skirt hangers

  • Each quilt must have an identification label sewn on the back left lower corner of the quilt. Label must contain at least the owner’s name, city and state, and year completed. The top of the quilt must be identified to ensure proper hanging orientation, i.e. optional Name of Pattern, Name of Quilt, Batting pieced and/or quilted by …..

  • Entries must be the work of the person(s) entering the quilt.

  • All quilts must have been made within the last three years.

  • Kit quilts composed of pattern, fabrics and quilting designs packaged as a unit for retail will not be accepted!

  • Each quilt will receive a written critique and a “points awarded” evaluation sheet

  • If you wish to sell a submitted quilt in the show, a seller’s “Price Card” must be attached to the quilt

  • An entry form is required for each quilt. Forms will be available at The Quilt Patch, 2221 Jacksboro Pike (Food City Center), La Follette, Tennessee on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. [ map to The Quilt Patch ]

  • Entry Fee: $12.00 per quilt entry. Fees must be paid by cash, money order, or check payable to festival producer, Campbell Culture Coalition

Size Category Descriptions:

Bedding:

  • Large - Over 350 inches

  • Medium - 214 to 350 inches

  • Small - 214 inches or less

Non-Bedding:

  • Large - Over 189 inches

  • Medium - 123 to 188 inches

  • Small - 122 inches or less

The Quilt and Art exhibit hall will close Saturday, September 24 at 5:00 pm to dismantle the displays. The hall will re-open at 5:30 pm for entrants to claim their quilts. Claim ticket must be presented. Unclaimed entries will be available at The Quilt Patch on the following Monday with claim tickets required.
