IT’S BOLONEY TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!!!

The Louie Bluie Festival and its organizers, the Campbell Culture Coalition, are thrilled to introduce our newest celebration of traditional Appalachian cultural cooking: THE BOLONEY TENT! YES! Our very own boloney booth at the Louie Bluie Festival on September 30, 2023. But wait…there’s more!!!

If you are feeling inspired by the Boloney craze, stop by the Festival Headquarters Tent and pick up a limited-edition Boloney T-Shirt to commemorate the event!

Many a student and adult have enjoyed the delicious and savory treat of Boloney Sandwiches and Fried Boloney for lunch, dinner and sometimes if we were really, really lucky, breakfast. From Mammaw’s kitchen table, to the fishin’ hole, to the lunchroom, we’ve been graced with this delicious meal over the years and so much lore has accompanied the humble Boloney. Please come by and tell us your stories.

LaFollette, TN local take-out kitchen and caterer, Doorway Gourmet, is our partner in this - offering multiple stylings of Boloney at the 2023 Louie Bluie Festival. Doorway Gourmet will cook, prepare and plate all sorts of delicious Boloney goodness – sure to please even the most refined of Boloney tastebuds!

Profits will be shared between the Louie Bluie Festival and Doorway Gourmet. C’mon down and fill your belly!

The Doorway Gourmet is established as a Christ-centered, for-profit, limited liability company with the direct purpose and specific focus of supporting the community and the local Annie Caldwell Foundation (501c3).
